Service Terms & Limitations

These Service Terms & Limitations apply to cleaning services, consultation requests, quote requests, scheduling, and customer communication with Maid You Look.

By requesting information, scheduling a consultation, requesting a quote, or booking a cleaning service, you agree to the terms below.

Quotes and Pricing

Prices listed on the website are starting prices, estimates, or general guidance only unless specifically confirmed in writing. Final pricing may vary based on square footage, number of rooms and bathrooms, current condition of the space, level of build up, pets, requested add-ons, travel distance, access limitations, and other service details.

A quote is not final until confirmed by Maid You Look. We reserve the right to adjust a quote if the actual condition, size, or requested scope of the space differs from the information originally provided.

Consultations

Consultations are used to review your cleaning needs, discuss the space, answer questions, and help determine the correct service. A consultation is not a cleaning appointment. Cleaning services must be schedules unless otherwise confirmed.

Consultation availability is limited and subject to confirmation.

Scheduling and Availability

Service availability is not guaranteed until confirmed by Maid You Look. We reserve the right to decline, reschedule, or modify a requested appointment based on availability, service area, safety concerns, scope of work, or other business needs.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact information, service address or location details, and access instructions before the appointment.

Access to the Property

The customer is responsible for ensuring that Maid You Look can safely and reasonably access the space at the scheduled time. If access if unavailable, delayed, unsafe, or unclear, the appointment may need to be rescheduled nd may be subject to a cancellation fee or rescheduling fee if one has been disclosed or agreed to.

Customers should secure pets, valuables, fragile items, personal documents, medications, weapons, cash, and any items they do not want touched or moved,

Standard Cleaning vs. Deep Cleaning

Standard Cleaning is intended for spaces that are already reasonably maintained and need routine upkeep. If a space requires extra attention, heavy buildup removal, detailed work, or cleaning beyond normal maintenance, Maid You Look may recommend or require a Deep Cleaning before beginning or continuing service.

We reserve the right to determine whether the requested service matches the actual condition of the space

Service Limitations

For safety, health, and scope reasons, Maid You Look does not clean or handle:

  • Hazardous materials;

  • Active mold or suspected mold contamination;

  • Pest infestations;

  • Bodily fluids or biohazardous materials;

  • Animal waste beyond normal minor pet-related cleaning;

  • Hoarding conditions;

  • Fire, smoke, or water damage restoration;

  • Construction debris or major post-construction cleanup unless specifically agreed to;

  • Areas requiring unsafe ladder use or unsafe physical access;

  • Heavy lifting or moving large furniture/appliances;

  • Illegal substances or unsafe materials;

  • Any area or item that presents a safety risk.

If unsafe or out-of-scope conditions are discovered before or during service, Maid You Look may decline, pause, or reschedule the service.

Add-On Services

Add-ons are not automatically included in every cleaning. Add-ons may include services such as interior appliance cleaning, cabinet interiors, interior windows, laundry, dishes, pet hair removal, orginzation help, or other requested tasks.

Add-ons must be requested in advanced or approved during the quote/consultation process. Additional charged and time may apply.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information about the space and requested service;

  • Disclosing pets, access instructions, alarms, parking needs, or special conditions;

  • Securing fragile, valuable, or sensitive items;

  • Ensuring utilities such as water and electricity are available;

  • Providing a safe work environment;

  • Communicating any special concerns before service begins.

Damage or Concerns

Maid You look will use reasonable care while providing services. If you believe damage occurred or have a concern about the service provided, please contact us as soon as possible, preferably within 24 hours of the appointment.

Maid You Look is not responsible for pre-existing damage, normal wear and tear, improperly installed fixtures, unstable items, loose hardware, delicate surfaces, or items that were not secured before service.

Satisfaction and Follow-Up

If something was missed or does not meet the agreed scope of service, please contact us promptly so we can review the concern. Any follow-up, correction, refund, or adjustment is handled at the discretion of Maid You Look and depends on the service agreement, appointment details, and reported concern.

Payments

Payment terms will be confirmed before service. Payment may be due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged. Late payments, returned payments, or unpaid balances may affect future scheduling

Cancellations and Rescheduling

Cancellation and rescheduling terms may vary depending on the service type and appointment details. If a cancellation fee, deposit, or minimum notice period applies, it will be disclosed before booking or confirmation.

Insurance and Bonding

Maid You Look will only advertise insurance, bonding, licensing, or certification status that is currently accurate. Customers may request information about current coverage or business status before booking.

No Guarantee of Results

Maid You Look will make reasonable efforts to clean according to the agreed scope of service. However, we cannot guarantee removal of all stains, odors, buildup, discoloration, damage, wear, mineral deposits, rust, mold, mildew, or other conditions that may require specialty treatment, repair, restoration, or replacement.

Changes to These Terms

Maid You Look may update these Service Terms & Limitations from time to time.

Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
